I hate 1/2 empty bottles of polish! you have to tip the bottles to get enough paint on the brush to paint your nails. i cant seem to get a good coat when i have to do that.
so when i tried to paint my nails with my Revlon "deep berry" and i only got 1/8th of an inch of pint on my brush, i thought well what now? so i started digging around in my polish boxes. I had a tiny bottle of a non named polish (out of a "kit" of nail supplies) that was close to the same color. so i dumped it all in. it didnt quite fill it. so i shook it up and looked it over and tried it out. Close, and it added a shimmer. but not dark enough. I was trying to come as close to the original color as i could. except now i had a shimmer (which i prefer for my deep purples) So in went some black.
My W&W black isn't really opaque, like i wish it were so i thought it wouldnt over power my purple. and I LOVE the color i came out with!
This is inside and i didnt think this did the color justice...
So i opted to see it in the sunshine.
