Matty

I haven't done a blog post about Matt in a while. So I thought I would update everyone about Matt and how hes doing.  We just went to the doctor and he weighed 30 pounds and was 32 inches tall. hes in the 99th percentile and that means hes much bigger than kids his age. basically find your average 3 year old .. yea hes that big now.

He has found a love of french fries but he cant eat french fries in a restaurant because most restaurants use soy oil in the fryers. We have found ONE brand of frozen fries he can have.

I keep trying to get him to love sunglasses. he seems to like them but wont leave them on for long. But we keep trying anyhow.

Matt got his first Haircut.   

 Mommy did it while he was taking a nap. I couldn't bear to ask a professional to try to cut this wiggle worm's hair while he was awake. I trimmed up what i couldn't get to once he woke up. I think he looks like a little man now and not so much like a baby.

Matt LOVES phones! 

 Everything from a remote to a hairbrush is a phone! he will walk around the house saying Hello? Hello? and if he gets to talk on the REAL phone? all he does is laugh.

He loves to color! 

but hes got a habit of wanting to eat the crayons, so we have to be careful. But he really loves to get the chance. Sidewalk chalk out in the garage seems to be a hit as well.

At Mcdonalds

He cant have much there, But we have been able to get him food that doesnt make him TOO sick.  A hamburger happy meal with a fountain HiC  take away the bun, and give him apple slices and only 2 small french fries. and he wont be up all night crying from a tummy ache. but if we were to go more often than once ever two months he would really get sick from it. there is SOY in every thing (except the burger patty and the apples) and Milk in the fries

Matt LOVES music. I was working in the kitchen last week and he was under foot clearly bored. so i took him over to where i had my canning stuff, and flipped all the pots over. and there we go a big set of drums. LOADS of fun that day. Im just glad my headaches are gone so he can enjoy himself.
