After a nice heart to heart from a very good friend, I decided that this room needs to be purple. I loved Michelle's striped paint though... So how to keep the stripes? maybe a pink MK stripe? nope, we opted for different hues of the same shade of purple.
I borrowed a used walmart quilt from my sister for the bed cover, and of course my "breezes of hope" quilt that my sister made me while i was ill. I also continued with the idea of a having dual purpose room as an office and a play room, and also perhaps a guest room, I am thinking of a way to make this twin into a "couple friendly" bed, that way we could have guests stay easier... I wonder if a roll-a-way would be the same height?
This is my actual work space, which I LOVE. I love getting away from work. and now all I have to do is leave the room. Although unfortunately, our main computer crashed the night before i was pulling off all of my work information and moving it to the office computer. so we have spent a good portion of time just trying to get that PC back up and running. along with doing all this painting and moving... not much time for anything else..
I still have the shelves to paint and hang, and some photos and memories to put in here, but its a great start!
