A quick stop at a turkey hill left us stranded with a car that didn't want to start. At this point we decided splitting up was the best we could do, leaving Steve to use his abilities to figure out what was wrong or to at least get a garage to figure it out. While Michelle and I walked to the campus.
Along the way to the campus we ran into some ducks....
We were surprised by this cat that walked THROUGH the ducks, so these ducks must be "locals"? Just up ahead of the duck by the brick building is a small creek that runs through town just as the one that runs along "water Street" does here at home. We were guessing this is why the ducks have congregated here.
As we journeyed along, My DD found out just how much I am not in shape she walks daily in school and frankly very fast. I had to move as fast as my legs could carry me, and even though she said I complained about it, I was so winded i could barely ask her to slow down.
This is the chapel of the campus it was very beautiful. and has a large amount of seating.
As you walk into the chapel, you are met by these beautiful purple carpets and gold trims.
This lovely chandelier is also in the front entry.
After the presentation at the chapel, we were then broken up into groups by the "majors" and then went off to see the perspective buildings where the main courses of study would be.
This is Michelle's main building.
We were then walked up to the "commons" this area contains the cafeteria, school store, a cafe (that is open until midnight) and the "theater/arts" section.
This is the theater/arts hallway as we walked down it they have so SO MANY wonderful plays Michelle is very excited about this.
{yes that is purple too}
This is the "main hall" of the commons cafeteria up the stairs on the left.

After lunch we toured the dorms and then got the call that THE CAR WAS RUNNING!!!! so we started back toward the chapel for Steve to pick us up.
ON our way back Michelle expressed her enthusiasm by doing a "pose" in from of her main building.
As we got back to the chapel, we noticed a large "pond" and the obvious reason the ducks were not here....
Our car did make it home, but it seems to still be under the weather. Hopefully soon we can have it back up and running.
